RI-97-A 0049 -Reply -Reply Yes, Paul,97-145 will be repaneled on Wedneuay July 2,1997 in the afternoon per the last panel recommendation. Yes, we have rec'd the residents fax and a copy is in the allegation file. Two acknowledgement letters are drafted and awaiting the SAC's concurrence. We should have this to your BC real soon.

I have no problem statusing this allegation, but it would be r~hidant to the one we had I onmonday for the other alleged computer problems. Why don't we get the SRI e-mail into the file and repanel this with the scheduled repanel of the monday issue.

Background information for updating Alleg. 97-A-049.
In discussions with Paul Swetland, he informed me that the alleger had actually raised five concerns. The fifth concern (adequacy of the data generated by the plant computer for judging plant operator performance) was not documented in the original acknowledgement letter to the alleger. Allegation No. 97-A-145 is currently opened to follow up on other alleger concerns which also ties into this fifth concern. In accordance to a memo from Brian McDermott, resident inspector, the computer printouts in question are in the possession of the Union Stewt.rd and the licensee are performing their own " official" investigation of this matter. Paul would like to wait for the the outcome of that investigation (97-A-145) before closing 97-A-049. Therefore, the alleger is being sent an update letter with the commitment to let him know of the outcome of his fifth concern.
