RI-97-A-0145 Susquehanna (vocal alleger) ,

The alleger called to ask where his letter is. I told him that we had a meeting this morning and are going to incorporate information into the next inspection report and should get him a leter by mid-March. He said that we told him he'd get a letter in Decmebr and then we said January and now we are saying March. He is right...that's what we said. He also said that we are not fair. We gave him 6 weeks to respond to a DFl and gave PP&L 9 months to respond. He believes that we  ;

are not treating him fairly. I told him that these are two differenct processes (enforcement and allegations) and that he has every right to go to the IG. He said he will wait for our letter ("until both barrels are loaded"). He also said that he is unhappy with the FOIA branch for not providing him with the information he requested. Overall, he beleives that we are giving the licensee a break. ,

I told him that there have been management meetings to discuss the licensee's preformance. I also i told the alleger that this is all that I can say and I could not provide any more detail. The alleger was not still not happy and apologized for his anger.

I I will place a copy of this e-mail in the file. DRP(Paul)...PLEASE get this letter out by Mid-March...PLEASE!!!!!!
