i FEB 41985 MEMORANDUM FOR:

Vincent S. Noonan, Project Director Comanche Peak FROM:

L. C. Shao, Leader, Civil / Mechanical Team Comanche Peak TRT

SUBJECT:

RESOLUTION OF 280 NEW ALLEGATIONS FROM ALLEGER A-45 In addition to the original 147 mechanical / piping allegations, an alleger (A-45) submitted a list of 280 additional allegations to the TRT.

The subjects involved were fitup and welding of component supports, bolt torquing, equipment problems and other miscellaneous concerns.

The alleger, during a later interview, identified 63 specific items which he considered to be the "most important" of the 280 allegations.

The TRT determined that the review of 22 of the 63 items would provide a satis-factory overview of the alleger's concerns.

The TRT reviewed the requirements, specifications and associated documentation, conducted walkdowns, and interviewed personnel in evaluating the allegations.

The TRT found that many of the alleger's concerns were related to unclosed NCRs and discrepancies which were later resolved and necessary corrective actions were effectively implemented by the Applicant.

In a recent interview with the alleger the TRT presented the results of the assessment of the allegations and the TRT's conclusions. The alleger accepted the TRT findings with no areas of disagreement.

No new concerns or allegations were identified, so we consider all these 280 new allegations are closed and an SSER on these allegations has been prepared.
