TRANSMITTAL OF ALLEGATIONS CONCERNING VENDORS USED AT COMANCHE PEAK FOR ACTION I I recently received infomation of alleged poor quality assurance programs at 1 l two vendors used at Comanche Peak. I would like to receive any vendor l . inspection reports or infomation the staff may have on the following two vendors: l j U [j 1,'- / f 1. Litton Yean located in Connecticut. (Supplier of electrical terminations to Boston Insulated Wire). g/-2L 2. Weidmuller Terminations located in Virginia. (Supplier of terminal blocks). If the staff has not already inspected these vendors, I would like to request l through you, that the VIB perform an inspection of these vendors. Please provide A. Vietti of my staff with a schedule of when these inspections can be performed by COB, December 14, 1984. We are interested in receiving the results of these inspections by mid-January.
