10 CFR 11, ORAFT FINAL RULE We have reviewed the draft final rule and it appears that the proposed rulemaking would impact information collection requirements. 10 CFR 11.13(b) contains an open-ended recordkeeping requirement. In our pro-posed recordkeeping rulemaking, we established a three year retention for this requirement and suggest that the retention period be included in this rulemaking. 10 CFR 11.15(c)(3) makes reference to the licensee submitting Part I of a "D0E Personnel Security Questionnaire." Is the objective to reduce the burden on licensees by accepting Part I of the DOE questionnaire in lieu of Part I of the NRC questionnaire'l If this is the case and there is a burden reduction to be achieved by employing this tactic, please inform us of the amount of the reduction and the reason therefor.
The Paperwork Reduction Act statement is not correct as written, however, additional information is required before we can determine the appropriate statement to be used.
