REVIEW OF PROPOSED REVISIONS TO 10 CFR PART 11 In your memorandura of February 7,1985. you connented on a draft of a revised 10 CFR Fart 11 and a Regulatory Flexibility Statament supporting that revision.
You suggested certain stylistic changes to Part 11. a preamble and a revised Regulatory Flexibility Statement.
You also indicated that a Regulatory Analysis would substitute fcr the Regulatory Flexibility Statement if the proposal stage to rulomaking is to be bypassed.
We do intend to go directly to t;nal rulemaking on Part 11 on the basis that the revisions wt.ich we propose are of a minor and adsinistrative nature which can t - proculgated under the authority of the Executive Director for Operations.

i Subsequent to the review reflected in your February 7,1985 memo. we have adopted a nu::ter of revisions suggested by the Division of Security. We have also incorporated the suggestions of your mano regarding style, etc.

we have produced a proposed Regulatory Analysis.
