- 2. I PURPOSE AND SCOPE This procedure defines the system for tracking NRC Inspection Findings related to construction phase activities at CPSES from the time of the exit meeting, until fonnal closure of each item.
2.2 RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY The Site QA Supervisor has overall responsibility for timely I
responses to NRC findings. The Non.ASME QA Supervisor shall i
be responsible for implementing the tracking system described in this procedure to ensure timely responses to NRC Inspection Findings.
l 3.0 PROCEDURE t'
3.1 NRC EXIT MEETING yp Appropriate notes of the exit meeting shall be made by the QA Secretary or other personnel designated by the Non.ASME QA Supervisor. These notes shall be used to prepare advance reports of items requiring response to the NRC Inspection Findings.
3.2 RESPONSE ASSIGNPENTS During the exi t meeting, personnel may be assigned the responsibility to respond to an NRC Inspection Finding. The assignments shall be carried forward to the advanced l
reports. When an iten has not been assigned to someone, the Non.ASME QA Supervisor shall make the assignment of personnel to respond to a finding, 4

JUL 2 6 im 2 of 5 3.3 NRC INSPECTION FINDING LOG The QA Secretary shall maintain a Tracking Matrix of NRC Inspection Findings (Figure 1).
The matrix shall reflect the status of each finding and additional infomation as required.
Each finding shall be assigned a sequential ntaber from the NRC Matrix.
The matrix shall identify the following infomation:

Item No. (sequential from matrix) b)
NRC Report No.
c)
Issue date of NRC report
- d)
Due date to NRC
- e)
Response assign?d to f)
Due date to Non.ASPE QA Supervisor g)
Brief description of finding h)
Status of response The items shall be entered upon fomal receipt of NRC Report.
3.4 ASSIGNED RESPONSES After entering the item in the NRC Matrix (Figure 1) the draft reports shall be transmitted to the individual assigned the responsibility to provide a response.
The transmittal shall show a required response,,date. Nomally, the required response shall be 15 days from 4he date of the transmittal.
Extensions to response dates muy. be made upon written justification to the Non.ASME QA Supe / visor. When the date requested exceeds the response due date ~-to the NRC the Site 0A Supervisor shall fomally request an extension froni the TUGC0 Quality Assurance Manager or his designee, who in turn shall request such extensions from the NRC.

JUL 2 6 iS63 3 of 5 3.5 OPEN ITEMS REPORT A report shall be generated providing a brief status of each open NRC finding.
This report (Figure 2) shall be published weekly.
Individuals. assigned a response due date that falls i
during the week when the report is issued shall be verbally reminded that the response is due.
If a response is not received on the due date, a fomal request for the response shall be delivered to the responsible individual, requesting immediate action.
Any response over due more than 2 days, wi thout an approved extension, shall be brought to the attention of the Non.ASE QA Supervisor for resolution.
Items shall reain on this report until closed by the NRC.
l 3.6 RESPONSE REVIEW After receipt of the response, the Non-ASME QA Supervisor shall review the draft response for adequacy and upon i
approval shall forward the response to the Site QA Supervi sor for review and forwarding to the Mar.3aer,
