GENERAL mg 2.1 PLRPOSE The purpose of this procedure is to outline ^ the electrical raceway / support system QC Inspection program so as to l
satisfy the requirenents of References 1-A, 1-B, 1-C and 1-D.
2.2 SCOPE The scope of this procedure covers electrical raceway support systems in Cate I structures.
This includes all cable tray hangers, goryall seismic conduit and electrical box support systens (A, B and designated C train), and C train conduit and clectrical box support systens designated by the Field Damage Study Group in conjunction with Class 5 Declassification Study.

Class 1E electrical raceway is included in the scope of this procedure for Unit 2 building activities.
NOTE 2:
C train seismic conduit support systems are those d ich support conduits with the conduit number ending in "S".
C train conduit support systens designated by the Field Damage Study Group may be identified as those in the areas " cross-hatched" on the Damage Study drawings.
2.3 RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY The Quality Engineering Supe rvi so r, or his designee, is responsible for the development of specific inspection instructions for inspector use.
The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for the implementation and administration of inspection activities.
3.0 PROCEDIRE 3.1 PERSONNEL TRAINING Personnel training shall be provided in acconiance with Reference 1-E to assure that electrical raceway / support I
system QC inspection personnel achieve and naintain inspection proficiency.
3.2 INSPECTI0'i ' ETAILS Quality Instructions supplementing this procedure identify the electrical raceway / support systen inspection activities and delineate inspection criteria to assure that construction l
activities comply with design specifications and applicable codes and standards.
3.3 EASURING AND TEST EQUIPENT Measuring and test equipment is calibrated, adjusted and metatained at prescribed intervals to provide confidence in the accuracy of the resulting da ta.
Calibration responsibilities ard requirements are defined in Reference 1-F.

AUG 0 71984 3 of 3 3.4 STATUS INDICATORS The status of inspected itens is identified on appropriate documentation as deffned by the applicable Quali ty Procedures.
3.5 NONCONFORMING ITEMS Nonconfonnances shall be reported as outlined in each Quality Instruction.
3.6 00CUENTATION ETH005 Quality Instructions specify the docuentation required to provide objective evidence of empliance with specified Engineering / Construction criteria.
Upon completion, these records shall be submitted for review, processing and filing in accordance with CPSES requirenents for QA records.
3.7 CORRECTIVE ACTION The Quality Engineering Supervisor, or his designee, shall review deficiencies and nonconformances and recommend required corrective action in accordance with Reference 1-H.
