We have received a copy of the following applications which were filed with the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (0NRR) for review in connection with the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Unit Nos. I and 2.-

1. A November 11,1984 application for extension of the deadline date for completion of the environmental qualification for feedwater regulating bypass valves.
2. A May 2,1985 application for extension of the deadline date for environmental qualification of the lift indicating switch assemblies and the thennocouple connectors.

Fees pursuant to 10 CFR 170, as revised June 20, 1984, were not remitted with your applications. This revised rule requires licensees to remit an application fee of $150 with each application for license amendment, relief, exemption and other request. Therefore, it is requested that your Company remit the required application fees of $300 for your Noveminer ll,1984 and May 2,1985 requests. Your Company will be billed for any additional costs for the review of your applications in accordance with 10 CFR 170.12(c) and 170.21. In accordance with 10 CFR 170.12(a),

application fees will be charged irrespective of the Commission's dis-position of an application or a withdrawal of an application. Even though your Company notified the NRC by letter dated December 13,1984, that all equipment was qualified for which you had requested an extension in your November 11 application, the $150 application fee is still due for this request.
