Your request for an extension of 30 days (until November 1, 1974) beyond the October 1,1974 date for submission of the Common !! ode Failure Analysis is approved. However, we require further inferration l

prior to the approval of your request for delay beyond :tarch 1975 te l

complete a review of the Primary System Transient Analysis'and the l

Containment Analysis for the Oyster Creek facility.

In this regard, please submit an explanation for the delay, and provide a schedule of the detailed plan for completing the analyses (vendor program) and your review. We also request an estimate of the date on which the analyses will be submitted.

Please provide your response to the above requirements within two vecks of the date of this letter.
