This refers to the inspection conducted by Mr. Rebelowski of this.

Jersey of activities authorized by AEC License No. DPR-16 and

to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Rebelowski with

Mr. Carroll and members of your staff at the conclusion of the

inspection.

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the Regulatory

Operations Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter.

Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective exandnations

of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel,

and observations by the inspector.

Our inspector verified the steps you had taken to correct the items

reported in Abnormal occurrences 74-11, 74-13, 74-14, 74-15, 74-16,

74-17, 74-18, 74-19, 74-20, 74-21.

Continuing corrective action

related to these items will be subsequently reviewed.

Abnormal Occurrences 74-10, 74-12, 74-22, and 74-23 involving set

points drifting out of Technical Specification requirements were

also inspected. These items will be reviewed again upon completion

of corrective action.

The inspected items which were found to be apparent violations of

AEC requirements are listed in the enclosure to this letter. This

letter constitutes a notice sent to you pursuant to the provisions'

-of Section 2.201 of the AEC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2, Title 10,

Code of Federal Regulations. We have verified that corrective

action is being taken in a timely fashion and, therefore, no

response with respect to these apparent violations is required.
