Jersey Central Power and Light Company Morristoun, New Jersey 07960 License No. DPR-16 Based on the results of NEC inspections on March 25-27 and April 8-10, 1975, it appears that certain of your activities were act conducted in full compliance with conditions of your License as indicated below:

Contrary to 10 CFR 20.201(b) which requires you to make such surveys (evaluations) as may be necessary to assure that no individual is exposed in ave=== of limits specified in 10 CFR 20.101, you failed to conduct adequate evaluations of the hand exposures incurred by your employees who were handling control rod drives during removal and rebuilding. It is further noted that this matter was corrected prior to the completion of the inspection.

This infraction had the potential for causing or contributing to an occurrence related to health and safety.

Contrary to 10 CFR 20.203(c)(1) which requires you to conspicosusly post each high radiation area with a sign or signs bearing the radiation symbol and the words: " Caution - High Radiation Area,"

you failed to post a high radiation area sign in the Trunion roon which was accessible to station personnel. It is further noted that this matter was corrected prior to the completion of the inspection.
