This reports the status of incomplete activities that were initiated in response to IE Bulletins No. 75-04 and No.75-04A.
Since the May 27, 1975 status report regarding the addition of a fire detection and suppression system at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station, the following activities have taken place:
1.
Several vendors have been contacted and they will be submitting recommendations for the installation of their system.
2.
An investigation is underway to determine the best method of sealing the rooms so that the Halon 1301
" Total Flooding" concept can be utilized.
It is anticipated that during the next 30-day period, we will accomplish the following:
1.
Evaluate the vendors' recommendations.
2.
Formalize an engineering evaluation of the available methods i
for penetration sealing.

Mr. O'Reilly. June 30, 1975 There has been no change in the status of the Shutdown Procedure modification or the Emergency Procedure reyisions. The statuses of these revisions and modifications and of the fire detection and suppression system will be reported to you next month (i.e., prior to August 1,1975).
