0-219 ECCS Anal s Your " Determination of Request for Extension of Time for Submittel of Evaluations Required by(AOceptance Criteria for Emergency Core Coolire Systems (10 CFR 50.46 (a) 2) (iii))" dated August 5, lW4, required, as part of its fearth provision, that Jersey Central Power a.nd Light Comper.y submit on or before October 30, lW4, copies of the final ECCS analysis by the Exxon Nuclear Company (Exxon), immediately upon receipt of this analysis.

In order to expedite this transmittal, we have requested that Exxon forward under separate cover, directly to the staff, the results of their analysis.

As indicated in our letter dated October 23,1W4, the Exxon ECCS analysis has been performed with input from the General Electric Company (GE) blowdown model rather than Relap 4.

This analysis, in conjunction with our August 22, 1W4 submittal, completes cur response to the fourth provision of your August 5, 1W4 determination.

The limitations shown in Figure 1, attached, are the results of the final ECCS analyses performed by Exxon and GE.

The Oyster Creek nuclear generating station will be operated within the more limiting of Figure 1, attached, or the existing Technical Specifications until the Technien1 Spec-ification changen associated with the Final Acceptance Criteria Analyses are issued by the Commission.
