The State of New Jersey's Emergency Plan does not meet the " Guide

and Checklist for the Development and Evaluation of State Radiological

Emergency Response Plans for Fixed Facilities", (Interim Guidance)

November 16, 1973. State personnel indicated that they were present-

ly working towards this end and that copies of their plan would be

available when it was revised.

The purpose of this memo is to point out this fact and to suggest that

this information be forwarded to the Office of Government Liaison and/or

-OSB, DL for follow up action on their part,

e.g., contacting New Jersey.
