Is AEC investigating how to dispose of chromated water or is AEC waiting for-a report from the licensee?
The State of N. J. has a "0" release limit for chromate to the environment. ' Jersey Central has prepared a program to extract the chromate from the torus water. According to Jersey Central, this program is to be submitted to the State for approval next week. RO is not expecting a copy of this report.
3 What is the activity of this water and how does it compare with Part 20 timits?
Activity was 4.5 x 10-4 uCi/cc as 'of.1/4/73.
