Division of Compliance, HQ CO INSPECTION REPORT No. 50-219/71-03 JERSEY CENTRAL POWER AND LIGHT C(EPANY
. OYSTER CREET 1 - BWR The subject inspection report is forwarded for your information.
This inspection focused on an examination of refueling activities, the licensec's first, and radiation and contamination control practices in effect for the related outage. As in the case of Nine Mile Point (See Inspection Report tio. 50-220/71-04.) one area of concern was identified, i~c., a relatively lov expertenec level represented in the CE personnel present. As was stated in the Evaluation Memorandum for the referenced report, our judgment is that the GE experience level situation at these two planta is probably indicative of a nere genersi condition, i.o., thin coverage by GE at the many facilitics throughout the country for which they have siv.tlar responsibilities. la was the casc ct 141ne Mile 13oint, the situation at Oyster Creek vas found to be acceptable, het only carginally so.
