JERSEY CENTRAL POWER & LIGHT CC.
FOREST SERVICE ' COMMENTS l
We have no information to indicate that the continued operation of the Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station will have any l
'further adverse effect on forest land beyond that which has
- already occurred ~as 'a result of transmission line construction.
4 We do not understand, or do not agree with the reasoning-i behind the last sentence of Section 4.1:
"The impacts of-construction on the land were not serious, the land having i
been committed beforehand to station use."
1 Some editing is needed, as in the last sentence of Section 4.3.1 and in the last ten lines.of the first paragraph of Section 5.4.2.
