This refers to the inspection condnoted by Mr. Pomeroy and Mr. Potapovs

of our Naadquarters Technical Assistance Branch on Apr41 10-11,1973 at

j

the General Public Utility Service Company (GPUSC) of activities authorized

i

by AEC License No. DPR-16.

i

Areas examined during this inspection included the GPUSC estivities relat-

ing to their overall quality assurance effort in the procurenant of Oyster

Creek reload fuel from EKIDN Nuclear Company (EFC), the product specifications

and process control requirements for the reload fuel and the results of GPUSC

audits of ENC. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of sel,ective

esaminations of procedures, and representative's records, interviews 91th

i

personnel, and observations by the inspectors.

Within the scope of this inspection, no violations or safety items were

observed.

In accordance with Section 2.790 of the ABC's " Rules of Practice", Part 2,

Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, a copy of this letter and the en-
