On July 9,1973, the oirectorate of Licensing of the AEC,. published
.the Draft Environr/.ntal Staterent (DES) related to the Oyster Creek Sueloor Generarir.g Station.
On August 27, 1973, representatives from i
Jercey Central Power 6 Light Company, the State of New Jersey and Lacey Township, cet with your staf f to discuss the prob. lens identified in the DES and possibic solutions to these problems.
Since that time con-siderction has been given to several modifications to plant systems, operating procedures and policies which are aig.ed at mitigating those I
problers which nay be due to the operation of the plant.
On !Invenber 8,1973, proposed Oyster Creek Environmental Technical Spec 1 fienticus (OCI:TS) were forwarded to the Co:-dssion.

were written to be respnsive to the DES to the gtcatest extent considered practical by Jersey Central.
