Dear Mr. Combs:
Enclosed please find a copy of a letter which I have received from Mr. Herbert Jaffe, Freeport, New York.
As you will note, Mr. Jaf fe is concerned with the amount of misinformation on matters of safety, emergency planning and other basic facts about nuclear power plants.
Specifically, Mr. Jaffe would like factual material with which to respond to a 1cteer to the editor which he believes misquotes the figures concerning the number of deaths from radiation in the event of an emergency evacuation from Shoreham nuclear power plant.
Any information which you could provide pertaining to Mr. Jaf fe's request would be greatly appreciated.
