NRC Hearings on LILCO nuclear plant at Shoreham, L.I., N.Y.
Dear Chairman Palladino:
I think it's simply not right for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission to move the LILCO plant hearings to Maryland and make it so dif-ficult for our representatives.
Our safety and welfare are in-volved, yet the County was stopped from cross-examining LILCO witnesses and emergency plans are being kept from us.
The practical and the safety features of this plant make any proper protection for us dubious.
Can you persuade the Commission repre-sentatives to permit the realities of LILCO's plant to be brought into the open?
