Effective Date. This amendatory agreement shall be effective en de 3:e of execution.

Secticn 15(a) is deleted and the following substituted therefor:

"(a) The parties hereto agree (1) that Supply System shall not enter into agreements for the continued operation of the Hanford Project after Cc:cber 31, 1977, if such centinued cperation will increase the a=ounts

.hich othe wise would have been payable by the Par:icipan: hereunder, and (2) that the use and emplopent of the Generating Facilities by Supply System and the disposition of the electric power and energy to be produced by the Generating F2cilities subsequent to the date the AEC suspends cperation of the NPR in accordance with Article 3 of the AEC Hanford NPR Agreement shall be to the entitics, for the purpose and in the manner agreed upcn by the AJ inistrater and Supply Systen; ;:rovided, hewever, that Supply System shall no: ag ee to the use of the Generating Facilities by another project if such use will increase the amounts which c:hemise culd have been payable by the Participant hereunder.

If the Participant is a party :o a Hanford Exchange Agreement, :he parties here:o also agree that the executien and delivery of this agreemen: as it may be amended dces not affect, linit, modify, alter, release, or discharge their respective obligattens under the Hanford Exchange Agreements or reduce the Participant's obligatiens to make papents thereunder, in the event that sufficient moneys to make such papents are not otherwise available in accordance with the Net Billing Agreements and the Project Exchange Agreements."
