Dear Mr. Rusche:
The License Application for WPPSS Nuclear Projects Nos. 3 and 5, which was filed with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on July 15, 1974, indicated that ownership agreements with regard to WPPSS Nuclear Project No. 5 had not been finalized at that time, and that an appropriate amendment to the License Application document would be submitted when those agreements were finalized.
It has now been established that WPPSS Nuclear Project No. 5 will be owned by the Supply System and Pacific Power & Light Company on a joint ownership basis as tenants in common, with the Supply System owning 90%
undivided interest and Pacific Power & Light Company the remaining 10%.
As with WPPSS Nuclear Project No. 3, the Supply System's 90% share of WNP-5 output will be sold by the Supply System to approximately 100 consumer owned utilities in the Pacific Northwest.
An amendment to the License Application document regarding the ownership agreement for WNP-5 is currently being prepared and will be submitted at a later date.
