The Nuclear Security S.hift Supervasor will notify the Plant Vogtle Emergency Response Organization, in addition to notify;ng the people at the Vi sitor s' Center. the Oraining Centor, the recreation park, and the constru: tion project.

Notifintions will be carried out thro 2gh the emergency notification netWrk (ENN) System.

The ENN phones are located in the control room a:'.d i n

Notification to the NRC will be over_ the Ert.o rgency Notification system (ENS) (reo phone).

PPOCEDURE 91002-_C_

obtain a copy of Procedure 91002-C, " Emerge:.cy Nctifications," for reference. Procedure 91002-0 contains four checklists.

Chec;tlist 1 is to be vued by the Emergency Director ao a guide to direct, coordinate, and verify the overall notification.

Checklist 2 is used by the Emergsney Director and a designated comnunicator for the initial and follow-up notifications for both the staten of Georgia and South Carolina state and local agencies. Checklist 3 is to be used for the NRC notification.

Each of these checklists tas an attachment that must be completed by the Emergency Director; the conniunicator w;11 use the informa*.icn on this chsekliot for the notification.

Checklist 4 is to be used to notify tho Emergency Rabponse Organization managers and the site NRC resident inspentors.

Tha ENN modo selector switch should fi:st be placed in the "VEGP Emergency" position.

Complete checklist 2 for initial notifications to south Carolina and Georgia authorities.

Have the communicator use t51s information as he/she follows Checklist 2 to complete the notifications.

These notifications must be completed within 15 minutes of the utme that the emergency is declared.

When the South Carolina and Georgia authorities have been notified, complete Event Notification Worksheet, Checklist 3 and notify the NRC or have one of the communicators use thic, chech. list to notify the NRC.

Direct the communicator to notify the Georgia Power Company persor.r.el using Checklist 4.

Maintain communications with off-site agencies.

At 30-minute intervalo or Af there is any change in the plant ne emergency neatus, the notifications must be updated, except in the case of a Notificatiors of Unucual Event classification, where follow-up notification is not required.

You should include additinnal information on the sheets as it to avaliable.

The NRC must be immediately infori ed of any further degradation of plant conditione, any change in the emergency classification, or the termination of the emergency, per Checklitt 3.
