RESPONSE CONCERNING THE " PETITION FOR LEAVE TO INTERVENE OF MULTIPLE INTERVENORS" On June 19, 1983, Multiple Intervenors filed a

" Petition for Leave to Intervene of Multiple Intervenors,"

pursuant to 10 C.F.R. 52.714. ,

Ccunsel for Multiple Intervenors today advised that, there being no other petitions for leave to intervene, it is withiirawing its petition to eliminate an unnecessary hearing, inasmuch as it favors prompt issuance cf the operating license.

Accordingly, there is no basis for any hearing by an Atomic Safety and Licensing Board.
