REOLVED, That the Erie County Legislature hereby requests that:
- 1) The Federcl Energy Reguletory Comission.and the Nuclear Regulrtory Comission intervene to halt LILCO's withdrawal from the Nine Mile Two Powe-Pr ojtet;
- 2) Attorney Generr.1 Robert Abrams comence action to require L*LCO, e stet:
regulated utility, to honor their contractual dutf es; 4
- 3) The New York Strte Public Service Ccertission investigate LILCO's finances and menagement;
- 4) Governor Cuomo refrr.in from using state funds and resources to bril out one downstate utility; md be it further RESOLVED, That this legisitture requests thzt the Stcte Legisitture diligently work to paevent the forcible theft of natural resources upon which one arec of the state relies and giving them to another erec which, in this case, is robbing the economically distressed Weste*n New York area and givir6 the fruits of the crime to the rich; and be it fu-ther RESOLVED, That copies of this resolution be sent to the Nucleer Regulatory Comission, the Federal Energy Reguletory Commission, the New York Strte Pur'ic Service Comission, Governor Cuomo and all State Legislators representing Eric and Niagcro Counties.
