730 Mohonk Road High Falls, NY, 12440 Email: pmattes@gmail.com General Comment Why would anyone with common sense hand Holtec, an incompetent company, with zero experience in decommissioning any nuclear station, the reins to manage the Indian Point nuclear station decommissioning?

I STRONGLY protest against this move. I live in New Paltz, within 15 miles of the Hudson to the north of Indian Point in Ulster County NY and about a 45 minute drive from Indian Point, well within the circle of space that would be poisoned if the plant were to blow. The majority of my family live here. The plan for Holtec to have anything to do with decommissioning the Indian Point reactor is terrifying, wrong-headed, and must stop immediately. I do not like living within this proximity to Indian Point but why should human error create misery and death to millions within reach of it?
