[External_Sender] Indian Point decommissioning Date:

Sunday, February 23, 2020 12:25:48 PM My name is Janelle Peotter and I live in the town of New Paltz - zip code 12561 I am very concerned about the decommissioning of Indian Point. It has some of thehighest concentrations of radioactivity on the planet, which is also leaking into the groundwater and the Hudson River. My understanding is thatEntergy has applied to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission for approval to sell the plant and transfer its licenses to an incompetent, untrustworthy company called Holtec. Not only does this risk further and worse contamination of the land and water around Indian Point, it means that if decommissioning costs more than expected, Holtec can simply declare bankruptcy, and Entergy will have no further responsibility. Please insist thatthe Nuclear Regulatory Commission deny permission for Entergy to transfer the license to Holtec. It is imperative that Indian Point is decommissionedsafely with a long term view.

Sincerely, Janelle Peotter Janelle Peotter New Paltz Climate Smart Coordinator Cell: 920-883-1788
