[External_Sender] Docket ID NRC-2020-0021 - Opposing Indian Point license transfer to Holtec Date:

Monday, February 24, 2020 11:17:50 AM

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen:

Holtec has a criminal record and should not be allowed to do business in New York State.

Holtec is currently in legal trouble in New Jersey for bribery of local officials.Holtec has been banned from doing business with the World Bank for 10 years and has walked out on decommissioning sites in other countries. The casks Holtec wants to use for high level radioactivewaste storage have thin walls and are inferiorto thicker walled casks used abroad.

Holtec is not qualified and lacks the experience needed to safely decommission Indian Point.

More than 20 million people, including 8 million New York City residents, live within a 50-mile radius of Indian Point. The decommissioning of Indian Point must be done carefully and responsibly. We are dealing with severe radiation and its containment, especially with the Spectra gas pipeline running only a few hundred feet from the spent fuel pools. This would have to be remediated.

The lives, health and well-being of more than 20 million people depend on NRC making the right decision to reject the license transfer to Holtec.

Very truly yours, Ling Tsou New York, New York 10038
