[External_Sender] Request for Hearing on Indian Point License Transfer, NRC-2020-0021 Date:

Sunday, February 23, 2020 11:28:11 AM

To the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission:

I live within the 10 mile limit around Indian Point. I have grave concerns about Holtecs ability to successfully complete the decommissioning of Indian Point Units 1, 2, and 3.

After reading about their corrupt practices in New Jersey. (Holtec International CEO and president Krishna P. Singh, who failed to disclose the disbarment on his application for $260 million in New Jersey tax credits, was questioned as part of a criminal investigation at the federally-owned Tennessee Valley Authority.)

And their incompetent practices at the San Onofre plant in Southern California, where two reactors were retired in 2013. This is telling the public that they are not to be trusted, where ever they do business. What over site from non-industry insiders and guarantees are you providing, that incompetence and corruption will not be happening at Indian Point?

This whole system should have monitoring by an independent group of scientists, to protect human life and environmental mishaps, before this project begins.

The whole process of a company trying to make money by speeding up the decommissioning of a nuclear plant, is totally skewered toward the risk taking of lives and harming the environment.
