License 1( 103 Huhject: Technical Specification change requent pursuant to 10CFH59.59(c) and 10CFil50.f;J.

The Univeralty of Missouri llesearch Henetor (M UHIO roquesta approval to reviso Technical Specification 0.1,hht) to rend:

An annual report on reactor operation duo 60 dnya following onch calendar year to include....

This would replace the existing Technical Specification which renda:

An annual report on reactor operation duo 60 days fhilowing each fiscal year to includo....

l The chango requested la nulunitted at this time because tho " Standards (br . ,

Protection Against Radiation" published in 10CFH2O have been revised:nnd becomo oftbetivo January 1,1994. The changes to the regulations in the now standard are i

significant with regard to occupational donc limits, dose limita for membern of the l public, and concentrations of radioactive effluent to the environment. Thono regulations are hused on annuni limits, and if repweta continue under the existing Technical Specification the report required for July 1,1993, to June 30,1994, will reflect six months under ono act oflimita and six months under a completely dilibrent set oflimita. Wo feel that this Technical Specification chango will theilitate the transition to the new regulations in 10CFH20.
