ORDER On November 8,1990, the Environmental Conservation Organization ("EC0")

filed a document entitled " Comment on Proposed No Significant Hazards Consideration and Petition for Leave to Intervene and Request for Hearing" regarding a recently published Federal Register Notice announcing a proposed amendment to the operating license of the Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station (" Rancho Seco").

.S_qn 55 Fed. Reg. 41280 (Oct. 10, 1990).

On November 16, 1990,- the Sacramento Municipal Utility District ("SMVD"), owner and operator of the Rancho Seco facility, filed a motion requesting an extension of time for one week in which to file its response to the petition for intervention.

The petitioner, EC0, has agreed to the requested extension.

The NRC Staff (" Staff") does not object provided it receives a corresponding extension in order to file their response after SMUD's response, as is allowed by the applicable section of the NRC's Rules of Practice.
