SUBJECT:

INTERVIEW OF TERMINATED QC CIVIL INSPECTORS FROM STP 1.

On April 21, 1980, Comissioner Bradford requested that all former Brown & Root, Inc., (B&R) Quality Control Civil Inspectors be contacted to determine the reason (s) they quit and/or were terminated.

2.

On April 22, 1980, Houston Lighting & Power Co. (HL&P) was requested by Region IV to provide the names and addresses of all QC Civil Inspectors who had worked for B&R at STP.

3.

On April 25, 1980, HL&P provided to Region IV the names and addresses of former employees.

The following is the result of the followup inquiries

by Region IV.

69 Total number of QC Civil Inspectors who had worked for B&R at STP.

-5 Individuals who were personally interviewed by OIA and indicated they quit / terminated for specific and varying reasons as identified in a forthcoming OIA Report of Investigation.

-7 Individuals who were interviewed by IE personnel, including one who claimed he was fired due to harassment from B&R management.

-2 Individuals who had no listed address.

-3 Individuals whose addresses were listed only as working for B&R at STP.
