RESEARCH REACTORS The purpose of this memorandum is to further aniplify the guidance of i
V EGM 89-08. Specifically, NRR will concur in all enforcement actions and the.
associated inspection reports for research reactors during the effective period of the EGM.
Concurrence will normally be provided within two working l
days of receipt of the enforcement action.
The two week period discussed in EGM 89-08 is the maximuni omount of time NRR is allotted to resolve the r
occasional problem that may delay concurrence beyond the two day goal.
