O!G REC 0lEENDATIONS 1 AND 3 My August 2,1989 meinorandum (enclosed) discussed certain recommendations of the Office of Inspector General (OIG) draft report, provided enforcement guidance in the area of repetitive violations, and requested regions to take certain actions.
This memorandum was discussed during the weekly enforcement coordinators' call on August 10, 1989 without negative comments.
Therefore, by this memorandum, the guidance provided on August 2,1989 is considered final.
l My memorandum requested that regional instructions be prepared within 90 days and training planned in the area of repetitive violations within six months after the issuance of the regional instructions.
In addition, changes were requested in the job descriptions and performance elements and standards of the regional counsels for the next rating period. Should there be any problems in accomplishing the above items, please contact me.
