Relative variance for each measurement used in calculating activity values were combined using the additive proper,ty of variance. The square roet of the conbined deviation of thevariance multistep was extracted to obtain an estimate of the stand.nd process.

The standard deviation was used to evaluate the error in,the calculated activities at the 95% confidence les.el.
