JAMES A. FITZPATRICK NUCLEAR POWER PLANT WITHDRAWAL OF EMERGENCY LICENSE AMENDMENT REQUEST (EPID L-2019-LLA-0214)
Dear Mr. Hanson:
By letter dated October 4, 2019, as supplemented by letter dated October 6, 2019, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) submitted to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission an emergency license amendment request for the James A. Fitzpatrick Nuclear Power Plant, Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-59. The amendment request was for a one-time change to modify the completion time for Technical Specification 3.8.1, AC [Alternating Current]
Sources -Operating, Action A.3, Restore offsite circuit to OPERABLE status from 7 days to 21 days. Subsequently, by letter dated October 8, 2019 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System Accession No. ML19281A996), Exelon withdrew the amendment request.
The purpose of this letter is to advise that the above-cited application is being treated as withdrawn. Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the proposed amendment had not been published in the Federal Register.
