October 8, 2019 U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission Withdrawal of Emergency License Amendment Request Page2 By letter dated October 4, 2019, (Reference 1) Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) requested a one-time change to the James A. FitzPatrick (JAF) Technical Specifications (TS) under an emergency basis in accordance with 1 O CFR 50.91 (a)(5). The proposed amendment request would apply the one time change to the Completion Time for TS 3.8.1, required Action A.3 from 7 days to 21 days.

By letter dated October 6, 2019 (Reference 5) Exelon provided additional information in response to the NRC Staff requests for additional information (References 2, 3, and 4).

Corrective maintenance was completed which restored the installed transformer to service and the affected Limiting Condition for Operation (LCO) was exited at 0000 hours0 days <br />0 hours <br />0 weeks <br />0 months <br /> on October 8, 2019 thereby precluding the need for transformer replacement. As a result, the extended Completion Time is no longer required. Exelon hereby withdraws its Reference 1 Emergency License Amendment Request for JAF.

There are no regulatory commitments contained in this letter.
