Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56 N RC Docket Nos. 50-277 and 50-278 Application for Subsequent Renewed Operating Licenses 10 CFR 50 10 CFR 51 10 CFR 54 Pursuant to the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 1 O, Parts 50, 51, and 54, Exelon Generation Company, LLC (Exelon) hereby applies for the renewal of the Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station (PBAPS), Units 2 and 3, Renewed Facility Operating Licenses, Nos. DPR-44 and DPR-56, respectively.
The existing PBAPS renewed facility operating licenses are currently set to expire as follows:
- At midnight on August 8, 2033 for Unit 2 (Facility Operating License No. DPR-44)
- At midnight on July 2, 2034 for Unit 3 (Facility Operating License No. DPR-56)
Exelon seeks to extend the respective operating terms by 20 years beyond the current renewed license expiration dates.
The enclosed Subsequent License Renewal Application (SLRA) contains the information required by the License Renewal regulations set forth in 1 O CFR Parts 54 and 51, and meets the submittal timeliness requirements of 10 CFR 54.17(c) and 10 CFR 2.109(b).
As required by 1 O CFR 54.21 (b), current licensing basis changes which have a material effect on the content of this application will be identified annually while the application is under NRC review, and at least three months prior to the scheduled completion of the NRC review.
Appendix A, Section A.5, of the enclosed PBAPS SLRA provides a list of commitments made in this application. This list will be updated as required throughout the SLRA review process.

- Subsequent Renewed Operating Licenses Docket Nos. 50-277 and 50-278 July 1 O, 2018 Page 2 In accordance with 1 O CFR Part 50, Appendix H, and NUREG-2192, "Standard Review Plan for Review of Subsequent License Renewal Applications for Nuclear Power Plants," an update to the PBAPS reactor surveillance capsule withdrawal schedule addressing the subsequent (i.e.,
second) period of extended operation is included within this submittal, for NRC approval. The capsule withdrawal schedule is provided in Enhancement 1 of the Reactor Vessel Material Surveillance program, as shown in SLRA Sections A.2.1.20, A.5 (Commitment 20), and 8.2.1.20.
The enclosed SLRA is being submitted electronically. A total of one (1) CD-ROM is included in this electronic submission. The CD-ROM labeled "PB_SLRA" contains the following six (6) files:
