REFERENCE:

October 18, 2018 letter: University of Texas at Austin - Summary of Site Visit and Request for Schedule for Completion of the Reactor Analyses RE: Renewal of Facility Operating License No. R-129 for The University of Texas at Austin Research Reactor (EPID NO. L-2017-RNW-0032)

Sir:

We respectfully request an extension of the date in the i:efe_ren9e (i.e.,.30 days from October 18, 2018) for providing a schedule of neutronics and thermal-hydraulic analyses (supporting relicensing of The University of Texas at Austin nuclear research reactor) by an additional 30 days, to 17 December 2018.

A proposal to conduct the analysis has been developed the Radiation Center of the Oregon State University and submitted to the Department of Energy requesting support. A schedule has been specified in the proposal based on the date the contract is approved; the proposal is pending, not expected to received final approval by November 17, 2018.
