Xn addition to further sealing."of the pump control circu'try, nearby steam drains have been rerouted away from the circuitry in order to remove the source of the moisture. A plant change, in accordance with-

'10 CFR 50.59, has bien generated to modify the control circuit so that, the trip solenoid will remain in the latched position follow-ing a pump stop. This should eliminate starting failures related to the trip latch failing to engage (see "eport 335-76-36). Also, surveillance testing has been increased to help ensure proper operation of the steam driven auxiliary feedwater pump.
