Per G.E. SDM analysis, Tech. Spec. 3.3.A41 met by disarmiT1g adjacent rods 0-9 and 3-9 at "00" and inserting 8-9 to 20, the first functional position. After subsequent GE SDM analysis, adjacent rods were fully withdrawn. To avoid rod drift-,

H-9 fully inserted (verified by TIPS) and disarmed. Safety significance minimal since SDM was always met. This is the first event of this magnitude.

Entire Drobe was replaced and correct rod position indication was restored.
