Millstone Unit 2 JPM Comments The licensee submitted several spare JPMs to expedite the review and approval process if some JPMs were deemed to be unacceptable.

The chief examiner replaced the original A 1.1 JPM (max RCS venting time) with the spare A 1.3 (Evaluate an RCP seal failure) because the replacement JPM had more discriminatory value.

The chief examiner replaced the original S-7 sim JPM (respond to SG level safety channel failure low) with the spare S-9 (mitigating a reactor regulating system failed T-cold input) because the replacement JPM had more discriminatory value.

During the validation immediately prior to the exam administration, several editorial and clarifying changes were made to enhance the quality of the JPMs.
