COMMISSION NOTIFICATION OF SIGNIFICANT LICENSING ACTION Consistent with the Commissions policy on notification of NRC adjudicatory bodies and all parties of information on issues in cases before the Commission, counsel for the U.S.
Nuclear Regulatory Commission staff (Staff) hereby informs the Commission and the parties that, within the next few weeks, the Staff proposes to make a final no significant hazards consideration determination and issue a related license amendment to Entergy Nuclear Vermont Yankee, LLC and Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (the licensee). This action is being taken in response to the licensees amendment application dated June 12, 2014, 1 as supplemented by additional letters, 2 and will modify Renewed Facility Operating License No. DPR-28 for the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station. The license amendment will revise the site emergency plan and emergency action level scheme and reduce the scope of offsite and onsite emergency planning at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station.

2 Supplemental letters dated August 29, 2014 (ADAMS Accession No. ML14246A176); February 5, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15062A122); June 18, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15173A100); and July 16, 2015 (ADAMS Accession No. ML15201A157).
Final versions of the final no significant hazards consideration determination and license amendment will be available through the Nuclear Regulatory Commissions Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS). When final versions of the documents are available, counsel for the NRC Staff will notify the parties and provide them with the ADAMS Accession Numbers for the documents.
