UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - COLUMBIA - NRC STAFF REVIEW OF THE OPERATOR REQUALIFICATION PROGRAM, RE: LICENSE RENEWAL (TAC NO. ME1580)
Dear Mr. Butler:
As part of the review of your renewal request for Facility Operating License No. R-103 for the University of Missouri - Columbia Research Reactor, submitted on August 31, 2006, as supplemented, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (the Commission) staff has completed a review of the University of Missouri - Columbia Operator Requalification Program, dated January 7, 1997. Our review concluded that the University of Missouri - Columbia Operator Requalification Program meets the applicable requirements of Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations (10 CFR) Part 55 and is acceptable. We request that you continue to implement your approved plan.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the Commissions regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
