DPR (applicable PM) follows up with the responsible branch to determine/discuss the basis.
NO No need to prioritize the incoming TR.
Continue to process TR per LIC-500.
YES The responsible branch can begin its acceptance review within 3 months of TR receipt?
Branch uses prioritization scheme (on page 2) to prioritize incoming TRs (prioritization not applicable to existing TR reviews, unless the TR is needed to support plant safety).
Branch informs their senior management of TR priority via a formal memo (copy DPR/PSPB). DPR to provide a template for the memo.
DPR PM informs the applicable vendor/OG of the incoming TR status.
Pre-submittal or pre-planning meetings between NRC staff and industry representatives are held to discuss incoming TR submittals (i.e.
proposed schedule, resources, required technical expertise/data).
TR Submitted To the NRC DPR PM opens a TAC (as soon as fee waiver requests are resolved).
