R.E. Ginna Nuclear Power Plant does not differentiate between long-term and short-term contractors. All contractors who have obtained unescorted access are considered short-term.

    • 1 employee "other" was a recollection of a dilute random sample.

1 employee "other" was a test conducted at the request of the Medical Review Officer during an adjudication of the employee.

      • As a contractor was being escorted to the testing facility for a test requested for observed behavior, the contractor informed his escort he chose to return home rather than have the drug and alcohol test conducted. The test was logged as a refusal, and the contractor's unescorted access was permanently denied.
        • A member of the MRO staff had a drug and alcohol test conducted prior to being placed in the FFD pool. Since Unescorted Access was not being granted, the category of the test was marked as "other" rather than pre-access.
