Dear Mr. Singer:

This letter confirms the conversation between Mr. James Smith of your staff and Mr. Jonathan Bartley on March 12, 2007, concerning a Category 1 meeting which has been scheduled for April 9, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. (EDT). The meeting notice, which provides additional details, is enclosed. The purpose of the meeting, scheduled at our request, is to discuss the NRCs Reactor Oversight Process Annual Assessment of your Watts Bar facility.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.390 of the NRC's "Rules of Practice," a copy of this letter and its enclosure will be available electronically for public inspection in the NRC Public Document Room or from the Publicly Available Records (PARS) component of NRC's document system (ADAMS).
