Why is Watts Bar not representative of manual actions? More importantly - if it isn't representative would that not be the best place to try to apply it since it will be held to the same standard as everyone else, or are the criteria not adequate to address every station ? In which case - we need to revamp to ensure the manual action criteria can be applied at every station. The last thing we need is more guidance that doesn't fit.

A day and a half plant visit would be OK; We would go to Watts Bar If nothing else comes up. Brown Ferry may be better than Watts Barr. Per Peter Koltay remark Inthe meeting last week , Watts Bar would not be a representative plant for the rulemaking. Our preference at the moment If possible, isSequoya.

Would it be possible that Rebecca can help set up a visit of Alan K and John Forester to Sequoah?,

Because Sequoah has many actions (both preventive and recovery types) Itwill help them to understand what actions the rulemaking Is covering. They need to see the procedures, and If possible, do some walk downs. Visiting the resident inspector (or the region) would also be OK. It will be a one day visit.

March 8 or 15 are their proposed dates. IFnot Sequoah, they will come with you at Browns Ferry thanks Erasmia CC: Alan Kolaczkowskl; John Forester; Kathleen O'Donohue; Ray Galluccl

Sequoyah App. R stuff Erasmia, With a little help from Steve Nowlen, I think I have deciphered the Sequoyah document you faxed enough to see Its relevance. It also helps me see how it might worth spending a day at the plant to talk about how they handle all that stuff etc.

Do you know which week this Is planned for yet.
